There is no fixed time period in which credit score is updated for a consumer. Unlike a credit report that gets updated every time new information is reported on it credit score is only updated when a request to access it is made. Which would mean that with every enquiry made by you or by any other business your credit score would be recalculated.
A credit history gets updated constantly as updated data is received and deleted from it. Many lenders request the consumer’s credit report before approving him for credit while others also request a credit score from one or many different credit scoring models. Just as your credit report will reflect the current information being reported on it your credit score will also be calculated based on the current information on your credit report.
For this reason a credit score can vary and fluctuate between a difference of a few days, a few hours or even a few minutes.
